Lenny is a traditional owner and proud descendant of the Quandamooka Nation (a Ngugi man) and also a proud Koa man from the Winton area of Central West Queensland. He also has strong connections to Cherbourg where his mother was born and raised. Lenny has worked at QATSICPP for over 9 years and is currently the Manager of Cultural Engagement within the Centre of Excellence Team. Lenny says the best part of his work is knowing that we are having a positive impact on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. He is currently involved in the ANROWS research, supporting community researchers to create a healing program built by community. Lenny prides himself on building and nurturing relationships with member organisations and communities across Queensland that places mob at the centre in all the work he has been involved in.
