Ana Malia Falemaka is a prominent youth activist and advocate for gender equality and climate justice in Tonga. She began her activism journey after the devastating impact of Cyclone Gita on her school and community. Ana has been involved in the Pacific Girl programme, which empowers adolescent girls and has significantly increased their rights and opportunities. She has also been a member of the Pacific Women Lead Governance Board and a mentor with the Talitha Project. Ana is dedicated to promoting environmental consciousness among youth and has organized clean-up activities to beautify the surroundings and educate young minds. Her advocacy work has been recognized with appointments to regional governance boards and her involvement in various international forums and discussions.
